Had a very 温馨 FOOT 09 steamboat!



A couple of us stayed behind for some sing a long session. Haha. Really enjoyed the company of the FOOTies.

Sat was a meet up with Ping, QY and gf to go get 老板娘's gift. I was so tempted to get one for myself. Thus after doing an entire night of online research, I went back the next day to get myself a Canon Powershot A1000! It was quite value for money. The camera cost me $289. The shopkeeper wanted to charge me $310 for the Ixus 80. Was so tempting lah.

Now I no longer have to depend on JJ for photos! Yeah!

Over the past few days I felt rather stimulated by random talks with people around me.

Today I had Labour tutorial with this sadistic tutor (she is giving us midterm test during recess). My tutor got a student up to the board to solve a tutorial question. Despite obvious hints from both the class and the tutor he can't seem to get it right. Then this was when my tutorial commented, "Sometimes it takes you a distance to be able to see the picture. When you are solving the question on the board all you can see is only things infront of you. Everything is so cluttered you can't think clearly."

We got to the next part of the question that the same guy had to solve. Can sense that he got quite frustrated because he can't seem to get to the answer expected of the tutor. When he finally solved the question we all realized how easy it was even though it appeared otherwise. Tutor commented again, "Look, the question is simple right. The thing about you, Eugene, is that you allowed yourself to be defeated to early. You just wanted to get over it. What you need to do is to take time to think."

Now I feel so clear headed. Because I've emptied the contents in my head.
