Perhaps I shouldn't comment too much on the dry run lest it ruins its very fundamental objective. If you wanna know about it, can ask me or Avelin, Wei Liang and KS.

Everyone were quite low on morale as it rained the whole day, from the morning all the way till night.

There was this super chio trail biker we saw at the jetty. So as usual, we asked our ji go pek SPO, JJ to give his professional ratings. Lol. But seems that she doesn't appeal much to JJ. And thanks JJ for coming down too. Full marathon, Mt K, Desaru, Adjam all happening tgt. I think you're damn zai! Appreciate your presence, fren.

Avelin and Wei Liang were damn zai at navigating. Because even though we were given a faulty map without proper instructions, they managed to find our hut. KS and Wei Liang were smart to suggest renting bikes right from the start of the day because it saved us a hell lot of walking distance. Imagine walking all the way into the Ketam bike trail at nightfall.

I was very worried at the hut because we were in the middle of the Ketam bike trail with no one in sight. My concerns were the wild boars and possible chances that we could get rob or something. Or even risk being taken away by evil spirits. *Gasps* Ok, I was kidding. Wei Liang and me were lucky to have Avelin's and KS's company throughout the dry run. They didn't have to come down but they came! Thanks peepz.

It was the first time I tried cycling around Ubin @ night without street lightings. All we had was a headlamp from KS who led the way. I was very worried because it was dark and the roads were slippery from the rain. So we were very careful to cycle at a slow pace. I felt slightly better after we got out of the Ketam bike trail because the place was rocky and had some steep down slopes. I had a bit of night blindness. There was this instance I almost cycled off the road. Like a few more inches to right I would have fell down to some bottomless pit. Luckily I swerved left in time to avoid the fall.

Before we left the hut for our campsite I did consider getting the pack to walk instead of cycling back. But I hesitated because if we were to walk it would take us 1-2 hours to get back. It was already very late and I don't think it is a good idea for so few of us to linger around the desolated end of Ubin. I chose the latter after giving much consideration to our cycling proficiencies.

Hehe, bet the rest didn't know that I had so many considerations ba. The trick is to act zai then you can be zai. JJ teach 1=)

Despite the safety hazards, we were back to Jelutong campsite in 1 piece. I finally felt some sense of relief. The cycle was a unique experience. I'm very proud of the 4 of us because we were an asset to the dry run, not a liability.

We have a victory shot taken by Avelin. Will post it up soon!

Looking forward to Desaru!
