Today I shall blog about my experience from ODAC family day.

I was terribly late in meeting the FOOT commers. Ran into Yali and Kang when I reached Harbourfront station. Turns out that they didn't even know what was the starting time of the day's activities. Lol. Jio-ed them to join the FOOT conmmers who were with ATC comm. the FOOT commers proceeded to Giant to get more food.

We arrived at Sentosa late. The rest of the comms were playing Blow Wind Blow, so we joined in. After that was some station games. There wasn't many of us around, so the seniors were attached to us. Ad sports made us run to and fro the 2 islands to get to our stations each time. Damn shag. The bridge made us all dizzy.

The games were the usual ones. We had most fun dunking all the station masters. Jian Da did a very amusing thing at his station. He forgot that his phone was in his hands and dipped it into the water. Haha. Funny guy; very blur.

Yuan Jing came late and was dunked by us! I felt that it was very funny seeing the bewilded look on her face when the guys grab her by the arms and proceeded to drag her down. Haha

We had our pot luck session with all the food that we brought. It was a wide variety. Got donuts, muffins, chicken wings, pies blah blah. Dun remember what I was eating then. Because I just kept stuffing myself with anything that anyone put in front of me. E.g. I big slice of Pandan cake and sum Bday cake from the ATC comm.

After that were more activities by the beach. We played some balloon stepping kinda game and I got dunked twice by the ATC guys (they dunked anyone who tried stepping on their baloons). Eventually I took revenge by dunking Jasmine in too! =P

The programmers were late as well. There were Avelin, Lauren and Hui Ming. When they arrived, we resumed the dunking frenzy and got all 3 programmers dunked! Apart from Si Shan, the whole FOOT comm were dunked at least once. You heng lor, Si Shan.

The last item was sand castle building with the SPOs as the base. Poor Jun Jie and Mel. That Jun Jie lah, kept amusing Mel with his stupid finger sticking out of the castle, causing the castle to crack again and again. We made a turtle for our castle. Very creative right! Will upload the pictures soon.

The family day ended with an ODAC cheer. After that FOOT comm had our own FOOT comm cheer! Lauren got so high she was screaming and screaming. Haha, was quite funny.

We packed up and left for Vivo to meet Reimin for dinner.

After dinner, Jun Jie, Sishan, Reimin and Hui Ming and myself went to shop around cos Hui Ming was looking for a jacket. Eventually she got this brown jacket from Pull and Bear that looks great.

The shops closed at 10pm so we went to Vivo rooftop to talk cock. It was very relaxing; the people and the environment.

Our day ended at 11pm.

I was a very fun filled day. A good FOOT comm bonding session. Again, really got to know everyone better.

Was talking to Jun Jie and the Loggies during dinner. Our conversation revolved much about ODAC/FOOT. As Jun Jie and myself spoke, I realized how much I've changed in a short period of 2 months. From the dissolvement of FOOT 08 to the dilemma of coming back for ODAC, to the sub comm recruitment and the formation of FOOT 09. I've seen quite a lot, did stupid things and regretted, learnt that change is a constant and most importantly, understood things that I've always failed to comprehend.

It was only after yesterday's family day that I really felt the gravity of the change. It was only yesterday that I felt that I've really let go of the past.

Previously I was ready to move on. Today, I've moved on.

Glad that I'm part of FOOT 09.

Dear old old boss (老-老板), now I understood the things you told me during the sub comm recruitment.

Dear old boss (老板), thanks for offering me that one last chance to be part of FOOT 09. Because I would have regretted if you hadn't ask me back. Thanks a lot.

Agree with you that FOOT comm is indeed the most complicated of all comms. However, the more complicated it is, the more we learn from it.

Ok, I'm going to get a life and stop the emo-ness.
