I finally got down to putting up a tag board after procrastinating for years. Now Princess doesn't have a reason to call me Auntie...

Hmmm the reason I never had a tag board was because I felt that it makes this blog less of a personal thing. But since I giving this html to more and more pple, it doesn't matter much already la. So pls leave me a tag if you've visited! Just curious to know who have been following my boring entries=)

That is all I have. Can anyone help to photoshop my face inside? =) Pardon me for the quality of the pictures. Taken with my 3.2 Mega pix W890i. I need to save up for something better.

Even though I have been bloging for the past one week, I never gone into details of our FOOT comm retreat. So I guess I'll summarize the happenings for the week.

Monday: Foot Comm retreat day 0

Liping, Jas, QY, YH and myself met @ Douglas house in Pasir Ris for Mahjong!! Wah, I was damn the excited because it has been at least 3 months since I last touched the tiles. Sadly, I began by losing money. It was at the later part of the night when I start recouping back my losses. At the end of it, I only lost 2 bucks! So happy even though I lost money. Haha. Jasmine cooked us Maggi Mee in between our games and it proven her culinary skills. I think she was very happy about it=)

The day ended with YH and me sleeping on the couches in Douglas's living room while the rest slept in the Mahjong room. It felt weird, sleeping in his living room...

Tuesday: Foot Comm retreat day 1

We woke up in the late morning, ate the breakfast cooked by Douglas's maid, watch some TV(布衣神相）and headed to Downtown east! After checking in, we went to eat again. Haha, cos I complained hungry. Then due to some miscommunication between Jasmine and me, I ended up eating her burgar by mistake. Oops... Sorry Jas, I'll improve my communication skills. Then Douglas drank her Ice Lemon Tea by accident. Oops.. After Lunch, we proceded to Gelare for desert. Then it was Arcade time! Our chalet ended off with a movie, a game @ the bowling alley and some group games in which I fell asleep in the middle...

Wednesday: I forgot what I was doing

Thursday: FOOT Comm retreat day 2

We had dim sum in the morning @ Chinatown in this restaurant called Red Star. The dim sum was alright but not as good as Crystal Jade Taka, Dong Hai and JJ parent's stall @ Redhill. Or maybe it was because I was half sick. But it was worth the money, cos I think we really ordered a lot. Finally got to try Red Star. People have been talking about how nice the food is. Even though it wasn't fantastic, at least I get to try the food.

Next was Arcade again @ Kallang Leisure Park. I never knew arcade could be so fun. The few of us, Sishan, EeChing and some others tried this new game where we can hit targets on the screen with real plastic balls. It was so exciting! We raced against one another as well in a game of Daytona. No real car to drive can drive fake one also not bad lah, the feeling.

After half an hour of Arcade, we went ice skating. Photos are above. It was fun fun fun! All of us were very noob @ it. So we looked stupid together that was why it was so fun. It was hilarious watching Douglas break fall. It was even funnier looking @ QY lose his balance and try not to fall.
In the middle we did have some small issue. But I hope everything is resolved. Harmony is of paramount importance.

At night, we headed down to Yi Hui's house for her Bday celebration. Wah, finally FOOT comm took a ride on NEL. I was so happy sia. Cos we were always either @ the West or City area. Really very seldom get to visit the Hougang-Sengkang area tgt.

It was my first time attending a 21st Bday celebration. Yi Hui's parents' were very hospitable. They kept asking us to eat eat eat. Then they tried to psycho us not to go eat durian so that we can finished up the food. Lol. When Yi Hui got sabo-ed with Wei Zhen, her parents were also very sporting to laugh along with us.

After that we headed home without durians.

It was prob because of all the rubbish I ate the entire day that landed me with a bad cough, sore throat and flu. In the end, the mother nagged at me all night...

Friday: Sick!

Saturday (Today): FOOT comm retreat day 3 cum post foot @ Sentosa

I told the mother I was going gathering, not sentosa. Lol.

The day started off with me meeting Si Shan to go to Harbourfront for breakfast. We ran into people from Alya and Castor at the food centre. After all reached, we made our way to Sentosa. Had loads of fun even though I was feeling lazy. We spent the day sun tanning, playing volleyball, frisbee etc. Because the people from Alya were few, we joined with Alya in most of the games. So we got to know two freshies better. They are Jian Da and Pryscilla (Duno how to spell). Towards the end of the day, Ee Ching got dunked into the water while I 见死不救. They wanted to dunk me in too, but I was still sick... So ya... I was not dunked.

I was also very happy when Gwen gave me a personalized photo frame with the picture of Octans inside. EVen though my face was not inside, I suppose I can still be considered half Octans? Anyway I'm glad that even though I'm not an SA for O this year, the Octans group still consisted of seniors from Ofoes. Its like a legacy being passed on....

The day ended with dinner @ Vivo with FOOT cum Alya.

After Dinner, I met up with Kwee Swee, KS for short to pass him my sleeping bag.

KS is my senior x2. Why x2? You may wonder. KS is firstly 3 years my senior in SRJC and secondly, 1 year my senior in hall X. Thats why I have the tendency to go around calling him 'senior' in hall, while he goes around calling me 'junior'.

Like Jia Hui, I connect with KS quite well prob cos we came from the same JC. I believe that SRJCians seem to have some kind of ability to connect with one another. Like having the same frequency. Simply put, we have an SRJC thing in us that makes it easy to start a conversation comfortably amongst ourselves.

We sat @ Starbucks for a chat before Si Shan came to pass me JJ's CD. Thanks SS! Then we went our seperate ways.

Now, I look like a red lobster. And also coughing my lungs out because I talked too much just now. Haiz, 真是活该...

I'll upload the sentosa photos soon after I get all the photos from Jas and Yi Hui.

Hope everyone is well and hope that my virus doesn't spread around the FOOT commers. If not I'll become 千古罪人.

For those going hall camp, like Liping, hope you have fun @ hall and dun scream so much. Very bad for the throat!
