It took me some time to realize that my Secondary School friends who went Poly have graduated.
Ali is working at Stand Chart while Shan will be starting work at HDB hub in a week's time. A pity I can't meet up with Shan as her 1st day of work will be the start of my 1st paper. Sigh...
I sms-ed Ali a week ago, asking her if she felt old to be already out in the working world. Haha, in the end kenna scolding from her. And she boasted she that shes the youngest at Stand Chart. Zai lor, that woman. Then it made me think of my own future. Feels so uncertain... Even the sister, with a BA can end up working in a cafe...
Anyway, I'm really happy for them to be able to get a good head start in their career. I know that for them, it has really been a dream come true!
As for myself, I guess its time to start planning ahead.
