I realized it can be quite satisfying to drink red wine with bah gua. Also, I don't think many people know this, red wine goes very well when mixed with coke. Dine taught me that=) The mother was quite shocked when I told her I had driving test the next morning. She chided me for the wine drinking cos apparently, she thought I would get seh and prob end up in some freak accident on the road tml. And I simply laughed it off.

Then she went on and on about the recent road accidents and also a tragic story about her friend's son who died on the road a day before his first job... She got so emotional in the topic but I was still rather nonchalant. Come on, I think the likelihood I'll die on the road is less than a 0.1% chance. She went, youngsters...

So I'm currently at home and it feels very much like the semester break. In fact, the week feels so much more like an impending semester break rather than a good week of CNY break. This is bad... I better get myself into the study mood asap, my Communication assignment 1 is due immediately after the CNY break, and assignment 2 will be due a week after 1.

I was quite happy that I could spare time to join FOOT com the previous Saturday for some CNY shopping. I bought a pair of shorts at a 15% discount because Ee Ching had an Amex card. So coolz can, her card.

We had dinner at big O where I decided to be extra and order a Beef burger instead of the fish and chips the rest gotten. Too bad lor, I got 2 ulcers and can feel a sore throat coming my way... After all the shopping eating and then shopping, we got into Douglas car and set off for Rocher tau hway! Then Douglas drove all of us home.

We talked quite a bit about ODAC and the possible sub coms we may consider running for the following year. Chun Kit even suggested we go Taiwan tgt the week after FOOT. So happening! FOOT com rocks my world man, looking forward to our next outing!

In the meantime I shall watch some TV. Hope I can pass my driving tml, been getting quite broke lately.
