It has been a very eventful day.

Woke up really early in the morning. The heat got better of me. Then I realised my sis had taken the fan away while we were asleep -_-

Went to tutor my cousin as usual. My aunt has decided to get him a PROFESSIONAL tutor. And this so called PROFESSIONAL tutor is a primary school's HOD of maths. So I'm stepping aside to allow space for the PROFESSIONAL tutor. Well, maybe I shouldn't be so skeptical. I tend to stereotype HODs as managers rather than teachers. I've encounted many who can't teach to save their lives.

I'm still tutoring him, but only once a week. Maybe you can call me a supervisor rather than tutor.

I stayed for a while after lesson. It was then did my grandfather got into a critical condition.
The adults began tearing and called all as many relatives as possible to see him one last time.

The sight was too heart wreaking. He just lay there wheezing non stop. Couldn't talk, couldn't eat. The scence-It felt like a tv drama, I never thought it could happen in reality.

The wife cried and cried, telling him not to worry, children all grown up, dun be afraid, Jesus will protect him and so on. Apart from that, there was one thing that was deeply etched in my mind(considering my hopeless memory). She said in cantonese, "You've been with me for so many years, but now you're leaving me. Upon hearing that, he teared.

Sometimes things are so weird. Maybe that is what you call wonders of life. He suffered from dementia, forgetting all childen and friends but remembering only the wife. The one and only.

But when the children and grandchildren arrived, he actually remembers them. Does that happen only on the deathbed? Is one the sanest only on the deathbed? Its something that can't be explained.

His eyes were closing, we sensed his tiredness, his sufferings. But he persevered as my granny kept telling him to wait for the kids to arrive.

My cousin who is a nursing undergrad came to help stabalise his condition a bit. Hopefully, he may get through tonight.

He is still waiting. Waiting for the one who isn't back.
