Came back from my granny's place an hour ago. It wasn't much like celebrating my gong gong's bday. It looked more like a normal saturday family gathering. The aunties and uncles had a great chatting. The older cousins talked among themselves. The younger cousins played catching. The ones in the middle of nowhere, which only applies to my n Joan, began our usual activity of cam whoring. We got bored after 10min or so, so we continued stoning-_-

I almost forgot to mention about the food. Very good food, in my opinion. There was braised duck, popiah, tau sah piah, fruit salad, chicken wings, curry, fried bee hoon, 3 different types of soup, DIMSUM, and my aunt rmbs, my fav, Jelly!

Its been long since I had such a variety of my favs to choose from. Everyday it'll always be yong tau foo, fish beehoon and 4 leaves loti. I mean, Yishun do have much good food. But these 3 are the most healthy. I define healthy by less salt, sugar and oil. It happen that my aunts have a habit of cutting down HUGELY on these undesirables. So do my mum.

We left at 10, and took a cab back. The fare was only a megre $3.90, cheap for a 3 people ride. Actually the taxi uncle was nice, he didn't charge us the extra $1. That was a far cry from the earlier fare-$6.90.

Mum is so happy that my elder sis is going to sell her motorbike. She repeated it many times infront of Joan and me, till we both got irritated. I'm quite pissed off everytime she mentions her. Like she is forever so good while the 2 of us are sinners. Mum offered to get her a car 3 years ago when she wanted to learn bike. But now she screams the hell out of me when I only intend to learn driving(I'm learning just for fun). In any case, she intends to work overseas upon graduation. A year later, there will prob be only Joan and her left at home. I'll not be surprised if they both end up killing one another. Words alone would do the job.

I think I have quite a dysfunctional family. Even though it looks very normal on the outside.

Or maybe that is only my own opinion. It may not be the case.

I really do not know.
